5	An extremely gripping and moving film. It was fascinating to witness a French trial, which seemed quite brutal at times. A traumatic experience for the child but he dealt with it with amazing maturity.
5	Superb acting - the young actor playing the son was excellent. The cinematography was interesting - lots of hand held camera - giving a sense of 'reality'. The intensity was almost overwhelming at times.

4	The film was overly long as it felt that the narrative was far too slow in revealing the intricacies of the case. That said, it masterfully manipulated perceptions, and I repeatedly questioned the truth as it was portrayed through the testimony of witnesses. A great whodunnit with many loose ends for discussion.
3	Maddeningly over-loud to start with - the trailer was as loud so it wasn't simply part of the story. Not a pleasing film; no resolution! And irritatingly inauthentic lawyers & court procedure!
