She portrayed the anguish and agony brilliantly. Sadly the mass murderers got away with such barbaric crimes. |

Moving. Heart wrenching. How lucky we are! |

Terrible - can't put it into words. |

Difficult to watch. Captured the horrors and trauma of war. |

As powerful as a film can be. |

Stunning film for Remembrance. The best of the season. Excellent acting. Wars still continue & we never learn - why? |

Brilliant spoilt only by the Party Political Broadcast on the white poppy. It might have its place but not on film night, particularly when the red poppy is ignorantly dismissed as glorifying war. Do your research. |

Harrowing film but so apt to show today. Felt speaker's reference to white poppies was very insensitive & was inappropriate. |

So moving. Nice introduction which prepared me somewhat. Excellent cast. Lest we forget. The sombre atmosphere in the hall at the end says it all. |

A very strong message in the film. Very tautly directed. Will stay with me a long time. Never thought I would see such a good film about the massacre at Srebrenica. |

A harrowing but necessary watch. That this could have happened 20 years ago is quite unbelievable and it is still happening now. |

As a film 5 stars. As a piece that tells of our lack of humanity 5++. That was 30 years ago - it's still happening - we need help - and not from religion!! |

Seems totally inappropriate to give it a 'score'. What a powerful and appalling film. Important to have seen it, but 'o tempora… o mores!' |

An incredibly wonderful film which could not depict the horrors of war more vividly. Excellent acting. |

A truly moving film which underlined the helplessness of the civilians, the impotence of the UN and the wickedness of the Mladic supporters. |

Magnificent. Wonderfully xxx all these frightful killings in the present; and the awful toothlessness of the UN troops - seemed to represent all of our countries just looking on, helplessly. |

Searing indictment of the Serbs and of the UN. I had no idea how impotent, actually INEPT, they were/are. Reminds me of Son of Saul. Equally moving and haunting. Will haunt me for a very long time. |

A film that needed to be made, a story that needed to be told but very hard to watch when you know what's going to happen. At least there was some hope at the end - a new generation who know nothing of the war and hopefully never will. |

Sad news of war. May peace prevail. |

Maybe Trump is right to want to do away with the UN. |

How could we not have known? Why did we not care? Will we ever learn. |

Heartbreakingly brilliant. |

Reminded me of the Israelis in Gaza! The Dutch UN troop had a near impossible position with no support. |

Sombre film - showed the incompetence of the UN in the 1990's - plus ca change in 2020's? |

It is less than 30 years ago and it will (is) happening again. Role of UN difficult to resolve. |

Really well made - only the almost 'happy' ending seemed wrong. A very good choice. |

A tough watch. Brings home the savageness of a horrible war. I wear a poppy every year to remember lost family members serving in WWII. Next year I will wear a white poppy as well. |

Stark contrast to our last film, for me this was a powerful and unforgettable film that demands to be seen, especially on Armistice Day. The film's unflinching portrayal of the atrocities committed during the genocide is both shocking and necessary, serving as a stark reminder of the horrors of war and the importance of remembering the past and lessons sadly not often learnt. |
