Relentless (but good). Otherwise like work; the bloody alarm wakes you up, another day of ultimately pointless tasks. It finally almost kills you.

Well that was very stressful to watch! Mads Mickelson was brilliant but it wasn't an easy viewing experience. A testament to perseverance though J

Absolutely amazing - held my attention completely. Scare of my life with the polar bear. Who needs dialogue?

Held one's attention - always anticipating a 'rescue' earlier. Excellent scenery & acting.

Gripping story of courage & humanity against the odds

Excellent, very tender and yet very sad.

For a film that contains very little dialogue, I felt their pain every step of the way.

Short funny but cruel!

I thought I was going to be bored at first, but I did get involved with their struggle to survive after a while. Excellent performance by Mads Mikelsson. Rather an abrupt ending - I wanted to know they both survived! Was it based on a true story?

Good but I preferred Frozen
4
Compelling plot but lack of dialogue. Not quite a buddy movie.
4
Not a bundle of laughs!

Rather long. Wonderful acting.

BLEAK!! "No polar bears were hurt or stressed in the making of this film

Compelling but in my view a flawed movie. Director lost his way I think.

Very apt short film. The effort made by Fleet Film is impressive. I've missed you. Anyway, the main film was very well done. I appreciated his creativity & organisation.
4
Gripping. Ending could have been more fulfilling.

Very well made film. Why did he leave the shelter of his 'plane for the unknown? (with no shelter at all?) It would have been nice to see them actually rescued!
4
An epic adventure that made for some intensive viewing. Very tense.

Poor choice of short film detracted from main film. Can't wait for a hot cup of tea!

I wouldn't want to sit thro' that again! So grim, though wonderfully done. Short was worryingly apt!

Gripping - a bit drawn out.

Amazing landscape with awesome weather conditions. What an outstanding performance Mads Mikkelsen gives! Very interesting film but not one I would go and see again. Short film was so appropriate and very amusing. More like this please.

Good film - not my sort of thing.

The first time I've enjoyed the short film more than the main feature.

Performance wise - great. Just a little too predictable. No real beginning or end. Who - why - what?

I have very mixed feelings abut Arctic. It lead to good discussions afterwards - about the man, the clues about how long he had been there on his own, his logical approaches to survival, the breakdown of his ability to sustain clarity of thinking in the extreme conditions, his desperation for companionship, physical breaks paralleling mental decline, the question left at the end - did the helicopter arrive in time? - the barren landscape reflected in the restrained acting and direction. Yes, very good. But oh, how I longed for a story, a real narraative and characters I could care about. I have to confess I was bored at times ... when you're considering the camera work, structure and possible number of crew around the actors, you know there's something amiss... but maybe I'm too Hollywood influenced?! So really, not my favourite film despite its good qualities!
