Loved it but felt he should have had some comeuppance at the end.
5
Great. Though I get the impression the director wasn't the biggest fan of capitalism.
5
Fantastic portrait of an evil man hiding in plain sight!
5
!muy divertido!

Wow! Best ever! I loved the dark humour + pace & plot development. Thank you!
5
Lots to think about. Usual standard i.e. excellent - well done.
5
An interesting film which enthralled until the ending - which was so perfect!
5
A balanced film about good and evil. Bardem was wonderful.
5
When a company says 'we are like a family' it's never a good sign. I liked the xxx though unfortunately there was xxx bitterness hitting the innocents.
5
Best film I've seen for a long time. The twists and turns were amazing and the acting first class.
5
What a swine! Thoroughly enjoyable. Loads of sympathy for his victims.
5
Excellent twists as unable to tell how long continue. Excellent acting.
5
Very Good film. Went from humorous to very serious. All really good actors.

Quirky!

Great - keep it up.

Loved it.

The price of the award was ultimately an employee's son. An apt ending to reflect the boss's unflappability.

Excellent black humour.

I liked it very much.

Very entertaining!
4
Good film.
4
Some great moments of irony!
4
Very different. Quite entertaining and amusing. A good study of characters (in a false world).
4
Manipulation put nicely. I liked it - but not the 'good boss'.
4
Bardem is a tour de force!
4
Good fun. Bardem excellent.
4
Funny but not funny at the same time. Interesting approach - I liked it.
4
Wryly entertaining take on industrial relations in a family firm - good fun.
4
Very thought provoking. Enjoyed how it became darker and darker.
4
What a shame he didn't get his comeuppance.
4
True to life - unfortunately. Javier Bardem just this side of creepy - excellent performance.
4
Quite good, interesting plot, very well acted. Thought ending would be different. Worth watching.
4
Complex plot, started slowly & built up in tension - what a horrible Boss - hope he got his comeuppance! Very Spanish patriarchal 'family'.
4
This makes me think of where I work! My boss is exactly like that. There's nothing like people, that's for sure!
4
Overall a very good movie. A combination of funny and serious that works well together.
4
As they say 'incredible' - a real balanced view of behind the scenes - well articulated - very realistic point of view of the scale.
4
An amusing satire. It started slowly but gradually built up as an expose of the hypocrisy of the 'Good Boss' and his real character beneath the façade of caring and geniality.
4
A refreshing change of subject matter with the workplace based drama. Although funny in parts also had a dark side. A multilayered look at human nature and how people react to situations and to each other.
3
Failed to live up to its early promise. Found it too drawn out & a bit predictable. Strong performances but needed editing.
3
Yet another European film about implausibly gorgeous young woman shagging ancient powerful male. Not as funny as expected. More female perspectives please & fewer cliches.
3
A sad & confusing film. Not sure if it had any point.
3
Interesting. Humour not up my street. It could be the first of many films following his 'friends'.
3
At times confusing.
3
I nearly left in the beginning. The end redeemed it for me. A bit too long.
3
Ambivalent.
3
Lots of Spanish practice.

This film didn’t quite deliver on its promise. The plot teased and surprised but ultimately did not satisfy. Javier Bardem is very watchable but lingering close up shots are no substitute for action and plot development.
