Incredible. Love what they've managed to achieve & their perseverance when others in the community were against it. Love the bit about the ladybirds coming to eat the problematic crop.
5

5
Beautiful film and cinematography. Great interpretation of the book. Loved it!
5
Simply fab - how human willingness can transform the planet! No other way but regeneration.
5
Thoroughly enjoyable, beautiful photography but it did raise many more questions than I had at the start. A visit is definitely on the cards for 2026.
5
Beautifully filmed. Educational on how we have ruined our landscape and how we can save it.
5
Good choice. V different. Good to have an occasional documentary.
5
Fascinating film. Different & really interesting.
5
Brilliant but we have 68 million people to feed and not on wild horse and thistles and how did they finance their development.
5
Absolutely beautiful. Could have watched hours more footage.
5
A brilliant story, very well told. We need to work out how to mass produce food via aquaponics so that we can release most of our farm land to nature.
5
A wonderful film about an amazing project. Should be shown in all schools to show how the land has been ruined.
5
Very educational - beautiful to see nature being given the freedom to flourish.
5
Loved it - what a wonderful couple - to be that brave. Can recommend the café!
5
A remarkable film with a fantastic message. Once again, something I wouldn't watch without Fleet Film Society. Thank you.
5
Wonderful - but you do have to have the money to underpin a project like this. You have to buy in all the large animals - they don't just arrive. But if a little bit rubs off on us - all the better. Superb filming.
5
What a brilliant film - should be shown annually in schools - give up Xmas concerts, introduce young people to the ideals shown here - prob. unattainable ultimately but we should strive.
5
Excellent film. Superb filming and the most important of subjects to get involved in. A real pleasure to watch.
5
Very interesting & eye opening specifically in a local perspective to farming when recent years have brought British farming to xxx, it is relevant/interesting to review a variety of projects for nature preservation.
5
What a wonderful film. So many beautiful images. Absolutely fascinating to see the experiment be so successful. I am aware there may be more than one side to this story but for now I will take heart from what I saw tonight. Off to buy the book now!
5
Excellent topic but only supports other projects in the world. Example USA in 1967 tried to create natural herd of buffalo to start returning to the West. Now Trump has killed... Current mechanised farming Mid West - How slowly will recover?? Some Mid West & Californian representatives were in COP30 although official American delegation banned.
5
Beautifully filmed. Very brave project. Did wonder how it was financed and how ever growing herds were managed in a confined space. Obviously can't cover all our countryside like this, but a wonderful idea.
5
I loved this film. Those beavers, the one washing his face, in particular, is a true takeaway memory. A very interesting insight on land management and how to create the necessary conditions for survival in the future. A super selection by the team! Merry Christmas everyone. :-)

5
Wonderful photography & great story.
5
Excellent - good choice.
5
Left with the question - where does all the food for humans come from?
5
Fascinating. Wonderful filming.
5
The Archers are doing it too!
5
Great choice! Really enjoyed it.
5
V interesting & absorbing. Very good choice!

Cinematically, this film was gorgeous and for that alone I would have given it 5 stars BUT there were so many unanswered questions. How does the estate support itself? How could this form of land management feed a hungry population? What were some of the challenges the couple faced? All in all, a visually stunning but rather one-sided film, glossing over many of the issues.
4
Very interesting but was it profitable?
4
Good to see. I am reading the book. Have been to the café!
4
Inspirational movie. Makes one think about a future where man can live in harmony with nature in his 3 bed detached home! Merry Christmas xx
4
Interesting. Thought provoking - how did they deal with the ragwort tho?!
4
Beautifully filmed. Great admiration for what they achieved but no doubt they lived on what other farmers produced.
4
Very interesting. Also very romanticised. How much was real and how much recreated for the film? Inspiring but what would be the balance in 'feeding the nation'??
4
Stunning but I'd like to know how they live on a daily basis. Thought provoking but a little idealistic in this overcrowded world!
4
Nature porn! I'm glad someone is doing this, but really; an answer to our ills & the future of our landscape? Only if our population can be cut by 90%. What would we eat? What about the former farm labourers. Great to see but...
4
Beautiful fantasy. Who wouldn't want to stop farming, sack the estate workers & build their own pre-agrarian playground. 😊 I have a huge amount of sympathy & admiration for them but presenting it as a solution to the world's problems is unrealistic to say the least!

4
Beautiful documentary with a strong hopeful message for our planet.
4
Fantastic photography & an interesting story.
4
Inspiring.
4
Fascinating.
4
A very interesting project BUT we also need to grow food!!
3
Fascinating documentary. Could have gone into more detail, eg. management of herds. Very twee without enough science.

3
Interesting.

Evangelical.
3
Interesting concept. Left lots of unanswered questions.
3
Beautifully filmed but too many unanswered Qs.
2
This is an almost entirely uncritical look at some of the most complex issues facing humanity. There was very little in the way of scientific or economic explanation and it completely glossed over the major complications of rewilding. (I actually love the Knepp project - I'm an ecologist!!)

As one of the reviews pointed out it was really like an extended advertising feature for the holidays on the farm. Too much like a wildlife documentary but without much character. I would have liked to know more about the financial implications - where do they get money to live on? Quite pretty.

Films are screened at The Harlington in Fleet every fortnight on Mondays. Everyone is welcome.
