Excellent extended episode of RACE ACROSS THE WORLD featuring the poorer regions of Brazil. Zero budget and a burgeoning relationship. Hard work but worthwhile.

Excellent & engaging. Always great insights into day to day lives in other countries.

Really enjoyed this road trip film. Brilliant acting from the two main characters. Funny and sad.
5
Loved the film but so spoilt by 2 older ladies talking loudly on 5 separate occasions during the film. It really put me off coming again.

I started off disliking Dora until I realised towards the end of the film that she was a damaged person herself. A very hard to watch story and pretty emotional. Still think that boy needed a mother more than the uncertainty of a father.

I think it was supposed to be a positive ending but I'm not convinced that leaving him alone yet again at the end wasn't going to traumatise the boy.

An enigmatic film, wonderful performances from both the main characters revealing life's complexities slowly with hope.

I liked Dora's social reality transform during the journey with the help of Josué's situation.
4
Quite an intense film but very interesting story. Really showed an interesting side of Brazil. Beautifully acted. Thank you.
4
Both superb actors. At the end, still didn't feel Dora was redeemed although we were meant to think so. How did she leave him again?
4
Feel good film. Except didn't really think she'd leave him. What a desolate world Brazil is.
4
Very good. Shame the women on the left near the fire escape ruined it with their inane chatter!

Film was alright - funny and good story but less emotionally provocative compared to others shown.

The most striking thing about the film was the poverty.
